Offshore Premade Fishing Rigs
CrazyHooks have a wide variety of premade fishing rigs for offshore fishing. Specifically, we specialized in bottom and mid-water fishing rigs, using live baits and dead baits. Depending on your targeted catch, depth level, and location, we have a variety of different premade offshore rigs using various leaders and types of hooks. NOTE: Our Hooks & Weights
Our hooks are all chrome-plated hooks and not the cheap aluminum hooks that you will find in sporting-goods stores. The price of the rigs depends on a variety of factors, such as the size of the hooks, the type of lines, and the weight (if any). You can choose either J or circular hooks no. 7 or no. 9 for offshores.
For monofilament premade offshore rigs, please add $2.00 for an 8 oz. bank-sinker or egg weight, $3 for a 12oz. bank-sinker or egg weight, and $4 for bank-sinker or egg weight. We recommend at least 12 - 16 oz. weight for offshore, especially in water that is at least 70 feet or more.
Finally, we do not recommend adding clamps to your rigs. Our experience taught us that the more widgets you add on your rig, the more opportunity for you to lose fish out on the open water. Like the old saying, "you never know what you will get on the other end of the line." However, if you would like to add on clamps, we only use 275 lb. clamps for offshore. Please add on $2 for each clamp.
